Something I’ve been working on for the start of our uni film. All done in nuke :D
My last showreel while at uni :D It’s been an amazing / stressful 3 years and I’ve learnt a hell of a lot more than I thought. A massive thank you to all the tutors at the university of Hertfordshire for the constant support.
Great to see some of mine and Ben Revens work from RewindFX on the new Autodesk showreel.

Birthday present ! My 4m old wolfhound pup Ludo. Has a unique shabby chic look and is an expert at creating a distressed look on any furniture.
Great shot of my families Irish Wolf Hound :D
A teaser shot from my third year University film
Here’s some before and after shots that I’ve been working on for our short film at uni.
The foundry have put my latest compositing showreel on their student stars channel.
A short film I was lucky enough to work on has been accepted at the London Independent Film Festival for Best Short.

I was also lucky enough to be invited to the first screening of Suddenblack’s short films, which involved an awesome little screening room as well as a free bar in the bottom of a cinema .
There were a load of high up music company people there who were cool to talk to. The night involved drinking ridiculous amounts of Jack Daniels :D
I worked for a week with the guys at Suddenblack, producing all the comp/Roto work for this short film. Here’s a trailer for it. The full length film will be out in a few months.
They produce awesome music videos check them out. http://www.suddenblack.com/

The TV ad I was working on at Rewindfx the studio I posted up a few weeks ago, has finally been released for the opening of the new London Dungeons.
To produce it we used a camera rig of 120 cameras to take stills in order to generate the camera moves then Twixtor was used to slow these down. Using Twixtor would cause distortion, which meant that all characters and objects occluding them needed their own roto shape in order to minimize the distortion and glitches.
Rotoing/Comping was interesting as we were working with stills that were 7k so caching through a shot was a pain, but it was a fun project.
